Tapped one of our little maple trees today, look!! The sugar is flowing!!! 
Rowan even gave it a taste..

Gramps is working on a brush fire... to clear some trees.
We even explored some moss.. 
and of course, Rowan had to conquer the mountain.

Oooo yum! Are you going to be making syrup? Or my favorite??? Maple sugar candy. Haha. :)
Yes we're going to try to make syrup.. but keep in mind that the maple water to maple syrup ratio is 40 to 1.. so i'll need 40 cups of water to make a cup of syrup lol we'll see! A good friend of mine giggled at our little cup and asked me if I was making a polly pocket pancake feast HAHA I do have an aunt in VT that sugars though and offered to give us a tour of how it all works.. .can't wait! I think Rowan will love it!
