I haven't talked about this much on here, because quite frankly I was worried about my ability to follow through and succeed.
But today I can safely say that I'm totally killing the couch to 5k training.
I started almost 6 weeks ago with short 60 second bursts of running, and today I ran 20 minutues/2 miles without stopping for any breathers.
To say I'm thrilled is beyond true.
6 years ago, before hubby, before baby, before huge weight gain, I used to run 6 miles 5 days a week. There were days I'd work 16 hour shifts and then I'd run the 5 miles home.
I was in the best shape of my life and I miss that body and that woman.
I'm refinding her now.
I signed up for my first 5k road run for September 5th.... I'm sooo excited, and quite frankly, really flippin proud of myself...... Tooot tooooot

Good for you! My husband has been hoping I would start running for the past 3 years but it's just not for me. Best of luck in the 5k. I think that's awesome!
Kudos to you! Not sure I could do it. Maybe if someone was chasing me and trying to do harm. No question then. :) Good luck with the race.
